Ahead of the release of her brand new album, 29: WRITTEN IN STONE, out September 17, the GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome country singer-songwriter Carly Pearce for an intimate conversation about the making of the new album, followed by a performance. The discussion will be moderated by Samantha Hissong from Rolling Stone. The newest Grand Ole Opry member has certainly carved a place for herself in today’s Country music landscape by being unfailingly honest about her doubt, tough truths and creating space for pain, laughter, and growth. “Next Girl,” her frisky warning to a young woman being smooth talked by a Romeo she knows too well and recent release “Dear Miss Loretta” is an ode to Lynn’s own truths across generations that feature fellow Kentucky icon Patty Loveless. With 29: WRITTEN IN STONE coming this fall, produced by Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and tracks with Tony Brown, the Country-grounded song cycle continues the recognition, healing and triumph that has defined her last twelve months.
