Spotlight: Ava Max

The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome global pop superstar Ava Max to the GRAMMY Museum for an intimate conversation about her rising career, debut album Heaven & Hell, and more, followed by a special performance. 

Ava Max exploded on a global scale with the 2018 triple-platinum smash “Sweet but Psycho” and is now one of the most listened to female artists in the world. Streamed over 2 billion times by 2020, “Sweet but Psycho” clinched a spot in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks. As the tune took the world by storm, The New York Times named it among the “54 Best Songs of 2019,” and Rolling Stone christened her “An Artist You Need To Know.” She only accelerated this rapid rise to pop superstardom with the Gold-selling “So Am I” [927 million global streams] and “Salt” [1.5 billion global streams].

In the middle of this whirlwind, Ava pieced together her 2020 full-length debut album, Heaven & Hell [APG/Atlantic Records], which skyrocketed to Gold certification upon release. It also continued her hot streak and features her biggest hit yet, “Kings & Queens” [1 billion global streams]. The song reached #1 on the European and Hot Adult Contemporary charts for eight consecutive weeks and soared to #2 at Pop radio. Last November, Ava added a new single entitled “My Head & My Heart” to Heaven & Hell, which has been streamed an impressive 401 million times globally and hit Top 15 on Pop radio. This ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused by refunding the face amount of the ticket or ejection may occur for failure to comply with any facility rule. The holder agrees not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, picture, recording or reproduction of the event. The holder acknowledges that the event may be captured and recorded by audio, audiovisual, and/or photographic means, and hereby grants permission to utilize the holder’s image and/or voice in any and all media now known or hereafter devised to further the interests and mission of the Recording Academy. It is unlawful to reproduce this ticket in any form. The Holder assumes all risks incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event, and releases the facility, management, all participants and each of their affiliates, employees, officers, directors, members, partners, owners, managers, sponsors, contractors and agents from any loss, damage or expense resulting from any such risk. COVID-19 POLICY

For the health, safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and artists, GRAMMY Museum’s current COVID-19 policy for Public Program guests is as follows: 

• Vaccinated guests must present upon arrival a photo ID along with proof that they meet the CDC definition of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, either in the form of a physical vaccination card or a photo of the card. 
• Guests under age 12 or those who are exempt from COVID-19 vaccinations due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours before entering the building and present their negative results at the door with a photo ID.
• Masks are currently required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests.
