“Without the Folk Revival of the late ’50s and early ’60s, America may never have been introduced to greats such as Kingston Trio, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Phil Ochs, and Peter, Paul and Mary. This exhibit explores one of the great American music periods of the post-World War II era — beginning with pioneers such as Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger — and how it came to give rock & roll its conscience, and inspire a new generation of music fans.”
-Bob Santelli, Executive Director of the GRAMMY Museum
