The Drop: Tig Notaro

Notaro has become a favorite on both NPR’s This American Life and on Conan. She’s been reviewed and profiled by The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, Entertainment Weekly, Vanity Fair, GQ Magazine, Rolling Stone and Time Magazine amongst many others upon the initial digital release of the “instantly legendary” (Rolling Stone) half-hour set LIVE via Louis C.K.’s website last fall. Notaro has guest starred on such shows as NBC’s The Office and Community along with HBO’s The Life and Times of Tim, has written for The Emmy’s and MTV Movie Awards and has toured nationally and internationally at the most reputable comedy and music festivals. On July 16, Secretly Canadian will release LIVE, which was recorded last August at LA’s Largo, for the first time on CD with a brand new bonus disc, Tig Notaro Live at The Moth. To celebrate the release, Notaro will discuss the album with Vice President of The GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Scott Goldman and will take audience questions.
