On the day before her latest release, Someday, hits stores, join us as we welcome singer/songwriter/musician and founding member of the Bangles, Susanna Hoffs, to The Clive Davis Theater. Produced and orchestrated by the revered Mitchell Froom, Someday is an intensely personal song cycle that doubles as “a musical love letter to the music of the 1960s.” Los Angeles native Hoffs began her musical career more than 30 years ago when she placed an ad in the Recycler which led to the formation of the Bangles, a band she remains a member of to this day. Susanna has also established herself as a solo artist since the 1990s, and with her new album Someday, she is writing a bold new chapter in an illustrious career–an album that encapsulates a lifetime immersed in the arts. Hear Hoffs speak about the creation of the new album, as well as reflect on her impressive body of work. After the interview, moderated by GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli, Hoffs will take audience questions and perform a selection of songs accompanied by a band led by Someday producer Mitchell Froom. She will also sign copies of Someday.
