The Drop: Ron Sexsmith
Just days before his latest release, Forever Endeavor, hits stores, join us as we welcome Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith to the Clive Davis Theater. Known for his melancholic pop-folk with elegant melodies, and accentuated use of guitars, Sexsmith’s music has been covered by artists such as Michael Bublé and Rod Stewart, and has been praised by everyone from Elton John to Sheryl Crow. Hear Sexsmith speak about the creation of the new album and his long-standing relationship with producer Mitchell Froom, as well as reflect on his impressive career, which spans more than three decades. After the interview, moderated by Vice President of The GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares, Scott Goldman, Sexsmith will take audience questions and will perform.
