Just days after Columbia Records will releases her fourth-studio album Bear Creek, we welcome singer-songwriter-guitarist Brandi Carlile to the Clive Davis Theater. Hailed as “the best voice in indie rock” by Paste Magazine, Carlile has been building a following the old-fashion way – touring, touring, touring. This year she will be headlining venues like Denver’s Red Rocks and Atlanta’s Chastain Park. Along the way, she has worked with GRAMMY winning producers T Bone Burnett and Rick Rubin and has toured with the likes of Ray LaMontagne, The Avett Brothers, Tori Amos, Jonny Lang and Dave Matthews. She has also recorded a duet with Elton John. Hear Carlile, along with GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli as moderator, talk about her impressive career and the making of her latest album. Following the interview, Carlile will take questions from the audience and perform a selection of songs.
