Spotlight: Mishka
He spent most of his early life on a boat in the Caribbean, sailing from island to island with his seafaring parents and older sisters. A true “child of the islands,” it was almost inevitable that he’d be drawn to reggae, Rastafari, and the natural mystic that inhabits his music and his soul. Join us as we welcome pop-reggae singer/songwriter Mishka to The Clive Davis Theater stage. Hear Mishka in conversation about his unique upbringing, his career at the top of the Billboard Reggae charts and Talk About , his fourth album and the second release for Matthew McConaughey’s j. k. livin label. McConaughey will join in on the discussion on stage and GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli will moderate. An audience Q&A and an intimate performance will follow.
