Explore the rich history of Music’s Biggest Night with our exhibit How to Win a GRAMMY which illustrates the path to winning GRAMMY gold and showcases the evolution of the GRAMMY Awards since the first televised show in 1959.
How to Win a GRAMMY pulls back the curtain to help visitors understand how the Recording Academy and Latin Recording Academy annually select nominees and winners in an expanding number of categories. The exhibit features five GRAMMYs to show how the physical award has evolved over the years, as well as the addition of the Latin GRAMMY award in 2000.
It shines a light on historic wins by The Beatles, Taylor Swift, and many others, and includes a short film of the most memorable speeches by GRAMMY winners including Beyoncé, Olivia Rodrigo, and John Batiste.
