Hosted and created by Marvin Etzioni Imagine a theater. As Chuck Berry would say, “the place is packed.” The lights go out and, suddenly, a vinyl record begins to play. Track after track, song after song – no phones, no computers, no interruptions. This is The Record Theater. Back for the sixth time by popular demand, the GRAMMY Museum invites you to the Clive Davis Theater to experience The Record Theater. This special installment of The Record Theater will pay tribute to six-time GRAMMY winner Sir George Martin, who rescued The Beatles from obscurity and produced the greatest and most popular songs the world has ever heard. His brilliance stands the test of time. The audience will listen to iconic tracks featuring The Beatles, Shirley Bassey, Billy J. Kramer, and more. After the last song is played, special guests Willie Aron, award-winning film/TV composer, Brian Kehew, co-author of Recording The Beatles, and Chris Carter, host of Breakfast with the Beatles on KLOS, will join Record Theater creator Marvin Etzioni onstage for a discussion. Since we will be playing the hit single “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” screaming girls will not be admitted without a legal guardian. This is an evening not to be missed. Get your tickets now. “We hope you will enjoy the show!”
