Sponsored by Amoeba MusicHailed as an “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone, USA Today and Spin, California-born singer/songwriter Tori Kelly first rose to prominence when her cover of Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin Bout You” went viral, racking up over 22 million views on YouTube. Kelly released her debut digital EP, Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly, in 2012 and it cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Scooter Braun became Kelly’s manager, and she scored a contract with Capitol Records, which released her Top 20 EP Foreword in fall 2013. Kelly’s debut full-length album, Unbreakable Smile, was released June 23, 2015, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 75,200 units in its first week of release. Produced by Max Martin, the album includes collaborations with Ed Sheeran, LL Cool J and Daye Jack, and features the singles “Nobody Love,” a Top 20 hit on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart that has upwards of 10 million streams, and “Should’ve Been Us,” which has entered the Top 25 at pop radio. The GRAMMY Museum welcomes Kelly to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate performance and discussion surrounding her new album and career, moderated by Scott Goldman, Vice President of the GRAMMY Foundation.
