Richie Furay started his musical career playing folk clubs as a solo artist in the 1960s, as well as with bands like the Monks and the Au Go Go Singers. However, he is best known for forming the bands Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Bruce Palmer, and Dewey Martin, and Poco with Jim Messina, Rusty Young, George Grantham, and Randy Meisner. Richie Furay is set to release his new album, Hand In Hand, on March 17 on eOne Music, marking his first solo release in 8 years. Furay, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 for his work with Buffalo Springfield, was also recently inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame for his work with Poco. Please join us as we welcome Richie Furay to the Clive Davis Theater to discuss his career and talk about the making of Hand In Hand with GRAMMY Museum Executive Director, Bob Santelli. Following the interview, Furay will perform.
