The Drop: Orville Peck

The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome Orville Peck to the Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace for an evening discussing his latest and third studio album, Stampede, his creative process, and more, with a special performance to follow. Attendees will also have an opportunity to enjoy rooftop views and a cash bar prior to the program.  

Stampede marks country superstar Orville Peck’s third studio album following 2019’s Pony and 2022’s Bronco. It also marks the culmination of years of work honing his songwriting, singing, musicianship, and artistry to get to this point in his career. Alongside luminaries and peers like Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Willie Nelson, Beck, and many others, Orville continues to extend his creative branches to new sonic and artistic palates, opening up his world to incorporate the voices, sounds, and lyrical contributions of others. “I feel like I’m finally learning how to take my place at the table,” he says of Stampede and this moment in time. This project has always been something I’ve fantasized about, so to see it finally come to fruition really is a dream come true.”
