Chart-topping New Orleans seven-piece, The Revivalists, have logged countless miles on the road, cultivating a high octane live show and a studio presence equally steeped in instrumental virtuosity and charismatic vocal magnetism. The group’s latest album, Men Amongst Mountains (Washington Square/Razor & Tie) is a culmination of their hard work thus far, while also opening up a new chapter for the band. The album features hit single “Wish I Knew You,” which skyrocketed to No. 1 at Alternative Radio and set a new record for most single-week spins ever at the format. The song is breaking now at Hot AC and claimed the No. 1 spot at Adult Alternative Radio last fall, spending 40 weeks on the chart. First released in July 2015, “Wish I Knew You” has had a remarkable trajectory and a staying power rarely seen in music today. The band now have more than 50 million streams to date, have sold out back-to-back headlining tours, and have garnered praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, NPR, Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, Interview Magazine, and more. Named one of Rolling Stone’s “10 Artists You Need To Know” in 2016, The Revivalists are quite far along on their own path now and there’s no turning back. Recognized as a stellar live band featuring pedal steel guitar, sax and trumpet, they are praised for their eclectic Southern mix of jazz-funk grooves, blues-rock grit, and warm melodies. Led by front man David Shaw’s unmistakable soulful rasp, the band is comprised of some of New Orleans’ finest musicians:  Zack Feinberg [guitar], Andrew Campanelli (drums), George Gekas (bass), Ed Williams (pedal steel guitar), Rob Ingraham (saxophone), Michael Girardot (keyboard and trumpet). The GRAMMY Museum welcomes The Revivalists to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate conversation on their continuously rising career and a special performance. The evening will be hosted by Scott Goldman, Executive Director of the GRAMMY Museum.
