The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome Mergui to the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater for an evening discussing his latest and upcoming music, his creative process, and career with 16x Grammy Award-winning composer David Foster, plus a special performance.
LA-based singer-songwriter Mergui (Universal Records / REPUBLIC Collective in partnership with Saban Music Partners) passionately challenges the norms of modern pop music. He’s opened for Bruno Mars and Maroon 5 to crowds over 65,000 and earned praise from Rolling Stone,Wonderland, and People Magazine— which named him one of their emerging artists. He has collaborated with icons like David Foster, Diane Warren, and Amy Allen and performed on notable TV programs like The Kelly Clarkson Show and TODAY Show. Following the release of his debut single “Sucks To Know You (F.U.)” from his EP Dark Side Of The Rainbow (2022), Mergui released Shadows Of Blue (2024) and Nobody Really Knows (2025). In 2024, he opened for Forest Blakk’s The Love & Loss Tour, playing 28 shows across the U.S. and Canada. His 2025 releases “LIVING ROOM” with maryjo and “Nothing Gold Can Stay” with Zevia quickly gained millions of streams, pushing his catalogue above 250M total global streams. In January 2026, it was announced by Billboard that Mergui had signed with Universal Records / REPUBLIC Collective in partnership with Saban Music Partners, alongside the release of his latest single “3 Tears.” With more music on the horizon and a signature talent, Mergui continues to make his mark as a bold new voice in pop.
