The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome recent GRAMMY-award nominated artist Madison Beer to the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater for an evening including a conversation about her latest GRAMMY-award nominated Best Immersive Album, Silence Between Songs, with a performance to follow.
Madison Beer is a platinum-selling recording artist, songwriter, producer, and author. Since making her music debut at the age of 12, Madison has evolved into a dynamic and versatile artist whose sound blends multiple genres of music with powerful and emotive vocals that convey a raw and honest portrayal of the human experience. With over 2.4 billion streams earned worldwide, Madison has developed a dedicated fanbase and garnered critical acclaim for her unique blend of soulful melodies, her powerful vocal range, and introspective lyrics that explore the complexities of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. A creative force and visionary, Madison’s music videos and stage performances are meticulously crafted, offering an experience that transports audiences into her imaginative world through her keen eye for aesthetics.
Madison’s second studio album, Silence Between Songs, released in September 2023 via EPIC RECORDS, earned the Jericho, New York native her first career GRAMMY nomination for ‘Best Immersive Album’ and her second consecutive placement on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, following her debut album’s appearance on the chart in 2021. As an independent artist, Madison released her debut EP As She Pleases in 2018, demonstrating self-assured conviction on the project’s standout track “Home With You,” which reached number #22 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart and certified Madison as the only independent female solo artist on the chart.
When it comes to her music, Madison assumes creative control. She writes her own songs, produces, directs and creates her own visuals, and showcases unique artistry through her diaristic lyricism, tackling subjects that include mental health, grief, and heartbreak. Life Support has since earned over one billion streams, while the album’s single “Selfish” went on to be Madison’s first song to be certified RIAA Platinum.
In support of Silence Between Songs, Madison released a trio of singles from 2021 to 2022: “Dangerous,” “Showed Me (How I Fell in Love with You),” and “Reckless.” The latter has become a fan-favorite, earning over 400 million worldwide streams to date. In 2023, Madison followed up with two more singles, “Home To Another One,” and “Spinnin,” part of her diligent rollout plan. Next, she’ll embark on her third headlining tour, The Spinnin Tour, which will cover 52 North American and European dates when it begins in February 2024.
With an audience of over 65 million on social media, Madison is one of the most influential voices of her generation. Her authenticity and openness serve as a beacon of empowerment, through which Madison has become a prominent voice in advocating for mental health awareness, using her platform to inspire and uplift others. Madison put her vulnerability on display with the April 2023 release of her first book, a powerful memoir titled The Half of It. In an honest and unflinching account of self-love, the memoir chronicles the past decade of her life in the spotlight and how her music empowered her to persevere through the challenges that come with being a public figure.
As Madison continues to evolve as an artist, she pushes herself to explore new musical territories while showcasing her talent, ambition, and dedication to her art. With her fearless determination and passion for music, Madison Beer continues to leave an indelible mark on the industry.
