The delicate delivery, breathtaking tone, and unparalleled guitar skills of UK singer/songwriter James Bay made his Republic Records debut, Chaos And The Calm, one to be remembered. Released in March 2015, the album peaked in the Top 15 on the Billboard 200 and garnered Bay his first three GRAMMY nominations, including Best New Artist, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for “Hold Back the River.” Vevo DSCVR placed him among their “Ones to Watch 2015” and VH1 gave him the “You Oughta Know” distinction, while BuzzFeed, Spotify, Yahoo Music, Mashable, Huffington Post, and Shazam all hailed Bay as an Artist to Watch for 2015. He’s performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and in 2015 he was awarded the 2015 Critics’ Choice Award at the prestigious Brit Awards. Having already performed sold-out shows across North America, Bay is currently in the midst of an international tour. The GRAMMY Museum welcomes James Bay to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate conversation on his career and debut album and performance, hosted by Scott Goldman, Vice President of the GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares.
