Seattle-based singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile released her latest album, The Firewatcher’s Daughter, on March 3 — her first set for indie label ATO. The 12-song collection marks a triumphant return after a three-year recording hiatus, and her strongest, most rock & roll album to date. Since her 2005 self-titled debut, Carlile has teamed with her indispensable collaborators, Tim and Phil Hanseroth, aka the Twins. Over four acclaimed albums, countless sold-out tours, and fruitful relationships with top producers Rick Rubin and T Bone Burnett, The Firewatcher’s Daughter was co-produced by Carlile and the Twins, and cut live in Seattle’s Bear Creek Studio, with the trio having complete artistic control. The album peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 — Carlile’s highest-charting album to date. The GRAMMY Museum welcomes Carlile and the Twins to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate discussion surrounding their career and latest album, and performance, hosted by GRAMMY Foundation Vice President Scott Goldman.
