GRAMMY winner John Fogerty is one of rock’s most influential musicians and writers. He was songwriter, lead singer, and lead guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival and has appeared on Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Singers and 100 Greatest Guitarists lists. His most recent album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, was named one of Rolling Stone’s 10 Best Albums of 2013. In his long-awaited memoir, Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music, Fogerty reveals how he brought CCR to No. 1 in the world, eclipsing even the Beatles in 1969. Fortunate Son… takes readers from Fogerty’s Northern California roots, through CCR’s success and his retreat from music and public life, to his hard-won revival as a solo artist who finally found love. In association with Live Talks Los Angeles, the GRAMMY Museum welcomes Fogerty to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate discussion.
