Reel to Reel: The Defiant Ones

Featuring a conversation with Jimmy Iovine and Allen HughesJoin the GRAMMY Museum for a special screening of the first episode from HBO’s, The Defiant Ones, which is currently nominated for Best Music Film for the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The four-part documentary series tells the stories of Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre – one the son of a Brooklyn longshoreman, the other straight out of Compton – their improbable partnership and surprising leading roles in a series of transformative events in contemporary culture. Following the screening, GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Scott Goldman will host Iovine and Director Allen Hughes for an intimate conversation on the series.
