On display on the Museum’s third floor through spring 2018, this one-of-a-kind exhibit will give visitors and fans a unique look at Katy as a fashion icon and global superstar through iconic costumes and wardrobe pieces. Among the pieces that will be featured in the exhibit are:

  • COSTUMES FROM HER SOLD-OUT, 151-DATE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR, DURING WHICH SHE PLAYED TO A TOTAL OF 2 MILLION PEOPLE
  • THE OUTFIT KATY WORE WHEN SHE HEADLINED THE SUPER BOWL XLIX HALFTIME SHOW, WHICH SET A RECORD AS THE MOST-WATCHED SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW EVER
ABOUT KATY PERRY Katy Perry made her Capitol Records debut with 2008’s One of the Boys after signing to the label in 2007. She cemented her status as a global superstar with the follow-up album, Teenage Dream (2010). PRISM, her 2013 album, debuted at No. 1 on iTunes in 100 countries and has sold more than 12.5 million adjusted albums worldwide. Katy’s new album, Witness, charted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking her third album to debut atop the chart. It also claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Current Albums and Current Pop Albums charts. Globally, Witness topped the iTunes Albums chart in 46 countries and has accumulated over 2 billion global streams since release. This year, Katy became the first artist in RIAA Gold & Platinum Program history to earn three RIAA Diamond Song Awards. Additionally, she reached a new milestone on Twitter, becoming the first person to reach 100 million followers. Katy has been the most followed person on Twitter since 2013. Katy Perry is the only female artist to have four videos surpass a billion views each. Her videos for “Firework” and “Last Friday Night” have over one billion views, while “Roar” and “Dark Horse” have surpassed the two billion mark.
