Clive Davis’ contributions to music, to a considerable extent, have guided the industry to its place in the new millennium. He has signed or nurtured some of our most successful musical artists such as Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston, Chicago, Santana, Aerosmith, Laura Nyro, Earth, Wind & Fire, Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, The Grateful Dead, Barry Manilow, Alicia Keys, Rod Stewart, Jennifer Hudson and dozens more to heights of artistic and popular acclaim, while his golden ears, creative support, and exceptional business sense have brought us some of the world’s most memorable recordings.
