Join us as we welcome Geffen Records recording artists Lifehouse to the Clive Davis Theater for our exciting Homegrown series, showcasing acts hailing from our hometown of Los Angeles. Lifehouse first topped the charts back in 2001 with the hit single Hanging by a Moment from their debut studio album, No Name Face. The song was such a commercial success, it was heard on numerous TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Scrubs, One Tree Hill, and many others. The band is well-known for their songwriting abilities and lead singer Jason Wade’s sonorous voice, as well as their catchy pop/rock tunes. Hear the band in discussion about they developed their signature sound, their time spent on the road and in the studio, as well as their latest album, Almería, released December 11, 2012. Joining the band on stage will be their long-time producer and friend Jude Cole. After the interview, moderated by GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Vice President Scott Goldman, the band will take audience questions and will perform a selection of songs. This event will be broadcasting live on AXS TV, the premier television destination for live events, breaking news and as-they-are-happening trends in the worlds of pop culture, music, fashion, and entertainment.
