Join us for a special family program featuring Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress and singer, Chrissy Metz, performing songs from her recently released children’s album, Prayed For This Day.
In addition, Chrissy and her writing partner, Bradley Collins, will read from their New York Times best-selling children’s book, When I Talk To God, I Talk About You. Chrissy co-wrote the album with Bradley Collins and Phil Barton (they also co-produced the album) and Liz Rose (Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee) who wrote three of the songs and is known for her work with Taylor Swift.
The album and book were inspired by Chrissy’s relationship with her beloved late grandmother, her faith, and her experience as a preschool teacher before launching her career in the entertainment industry. The program will include a book reading and short discussion, followed by a performance and book signing.
