The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to celebrate Henry Mancini’s centennial in the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater with an evening including a panel discussing his legendary career and a performance to follow.
It’s Henry Mancini’s 100th Birthday and the GRAMMY Museum is celebrating the legendary, 20x GRAMMY recipient’s centennial in style with a not-to-be-missed event.
Mancini, the composer of iconic themes including “Pink Panther”, “Moon River”, “Days of Wine and Roses” and the first GRAMMY “Album of the Year”, “Music from Peter Gunn”, will be honored with live performances by Dave Koz, GRAMMY Award-nominated vocalist and Henry’s daughter Monica Mancini, plus multi-GRAMMY and Emmy recipient, producer and musician Gregg Field, along with an all-star band composed of L.A.’s finest studio musicians.
In addition to the concert, the evening will also feature a panel Q&A with members of the Mancini family, the nation’s leading writer on the subject of music for films and televison, Jon Burlingame, as well as a couple of surprise guest artists…
