California Dreamin’: The Sounds of Laurel Canyon 1965 – 1977

Featuring Henry Diltz, Micky Dolenz, Danny Hutton, Harvey Kubernik, Art Podell, and Gail Zappa, The GRAMMY Museum is pleased to present California Dreamin’: The Sounds of Laurel Canyon, 1965 – 1977, an exhibition set to open on May 9, 2014.

This exhibition will explore the story of the Los Angeles rock scene from the mid-1960s to mid-1970s, a golden age of music, creativity and culture.

To celebrate the opening, please join us for a special launch event featuring a tour of the exhibit and an intimate panel discussion with photographer Henry Diltz, whose iconic photographs are prominently featured, historian Harvey Kubernik, and artists Micky Dolenz, Danny Hutton, Art Podell, and Gail Zappa.
