BEAT MAKING AND SAMPLES: DARRYL SWANN
Join veteran instructor Darryl Swann as he gives students a hands-on demonstration of sampling techniques, mixing principles, and how-to use an old-school drum machine and vinyl records to create beats. Starting his career in a metal band, Cleveland-born Swann has worked with artists such as Mos Def, Rick Rubin, will.i.am, Raphael Saadiq, and Stevie Wonder.
