In conjunction with the exhibit opening of “Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled,” the Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Olivia Rodrigo to the Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace for an evening celebrating and discussing her newest critically acclaimed album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, her creative process, career, upcoming tour, and more, with a special performance. Attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy rooftop views, a café with food, and a cash bar prior and will have the chance to view the exhibit post-program.
Grammy-award winning, multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter and philanthropist Olivia Rodrigo is one of the most influential artists of today. After shattering records with her chart-topping, 6x Platinum debut album SOUR – the fastest album in history to have all of its songs certified RIAA Platinum or higher – 3x Grammy® Award winning singer -songwriter Olivia Rodrigo made a monumental return with her sophomore album GUTS, revealing newly heightened sophistication as a vocalist and lyricist.
With over 37 million albums sold globally to date, Rodrigo released her third studio album this June, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, to critical acclaim, becoming the biggest solo debut of 2026, with 485,000 units sold in the first week. Rodrigo became the first artist ever to debut each of their first 3 lead singles at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and first 3 albums at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love also going #1 in 17 countries. The new album marks the biggest debut by a solo act so far this year, and now Rodrigo’s entire discography has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, each new album outselling the last.
Rodrigo is set to kick off her massive sold out The Unraveled Tour in September, quickly selling out globally with over 1 million tickets sold, added stops due to demand, and breaking several venue records. The tour was originally announced with four dates in Brooklyn and quickly expanded to a massive 10-show residency at Barclays Center. Rodrigo also set the venue performance record at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, bringing the total to an historic 10 dates, establishing a new venue benchmark. At London’s O2 with 11 nights set to perform, Rodrigo joins an elite group of artists who have reached double-digit residencies at the venue including Prince, The Spice Girls, One Direction, Ariana Grande, Elton John, and Rihanna.
Not stopping there, Rodrigo announced her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival, a new music festival bringing together women in music to support and uplift women and girls. The festival will celebrate the power of collective experiences to inspire new ideas, deepen understanding, and drive action. Taking place August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California, the single-day event will bring together an all-women lineup of groundbreaking artists, women- and girls-focused nonprofit organizations, and a community rooted in creativity, connection, and collective impact. Net proceeds from the festival will benefit non-profit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls through the Daisy Chain Fields Fund.
