Possessing one of the most outstanding and instantly recognizable voices in music, singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban is a triple-threat who has entertained fans across the globe with his multi-platinum albums and DVDs (over 25 million sold worldwide), electrifying live performances, and comedic film and television appearances. The Los Angeles native first broke through in 2001 with his self-titled double-platinum debut album, followed by 2003’s multi-platinum Closer, and 2006’s double-platinum Awake. In 2007, Groban became the best-selling recording artist of the year thanks to sales of Awake and his Christmas album, Noel – the best-selling album of 2007. Groban ranks as Billboard’s 14th top-selling artist of the 2000s with more than 20 million units sold in the U.S. alone. Additionally, he’s the only artist to have two albums appear on the Top 20 best-selling albums list of the past decade. In 2010, Groban released the platinum certified album Illuminations. In February of this year, Josh released All That Echoes which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. An active arts education philanthropist and advocate, Groban is a member of Americans for the Arts Artists Committee and Groban’s Find Your Light Foundation helps enrich the lives of young people through arts, education, and cultural awareness. Please join us as we welcome this international superstar to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate interview, moderated by Vice President of The GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Scott Goldman. Also joining Groban on stage will be Rob Cavallo, Chairman of Warner Bros. Records. Cavallo is one of the top-selling producers in the world, and has produced or had creative involvement in albums that have sold more than 130 million units. In addition to working with Groban on All That Echoes, Cavallo has produced or worked with many Warner Music Group artists, including Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Fleetwood Mac, Goo Goo Dolls, Gary Clark Jr., LP, Tegan & Sara, Chris Isaak, Kid Rock, Alanis Morissette, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Shinedown and Green Day as well as Dave Matthews Band, Avril Lavigne, Jewel and many others. After the interview, Groban will take audience questions and will perform a selection of songs.
