An Evening With Don Toliver +

+ American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets from Thu 9/3 10:30AM through Sat 9/5 11AM.

The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome multi-platinum artist Don Toliver to the Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace for an evening discussing his newest critically acclaimed album, OCTANE, his creative process, career, and more, with a special performance. Attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy rooftop views, a café with food, and a cash bar prior to the program.

Don Toliver is one of music’s most innovative and boundary-pushing creative forces. As an executive producer, visual artist, and creative director, Toliver masterfully blends hip-hop, R&B, and cinematic storytelling to build immersive sonic worlds that blur the lines between music, art, and culture.

Toliver’s breakthrough moment occurred in 2026 with his career-defining album, OCTANE. The album exploded marking Don’s first solo chart-topper and delivering one of 2026’s biggest albums. Since its release, OCTANE has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, solidifying its place as one of the year’s biggest and most impactful hip-hop releases.

The album has continued to dominate the cultural conversation, with all 17 tracks debuting simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart — making Toliver just the sixth artist in history to achieve 17 or more entries in a single week. Fan favorites including “E85,” “Body,” and “Secondhand” have become global streaming standouts, with “E85” becoming the first rap song released in 2026 to surpass 300 million streams on Spotify. The track was also recognized by Pitchfork and Spotify as a Songs of the Summer Contender, while “Secondhand” was named among Spotify’s Best Songs of the Year. OCTANE has also earned recognition from Billboard, Complex, and The FADER as one of the best albums of 2026.

Building on the album’s momentum, Don has sold out all 50 dates on his North American leg one tour, bringing his cinematic production and visionary artistry to arenas worldwide. His creative impact has been further recognized this year with 2026 American Music Award nominations for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best Hip-Hop Album, as well as a BET Award nomination for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and and an MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best Hip-Hop for “E85”. Don has also appeared on the covers of numerous high-profile publications including Billboard, Hypebeast and Flaunt further solidifying his place at the forefront of modern hip-hop.
