Sessions

GRAMMY Museum Sessions are a suite of programs designed to introduce, educate and equip our community with skills, knowledge, and resources used throughout the music industry. These sessions consist of Summer Session for high school students, Industry Session for ages 18+, and Family Session for ages 3-7 with a parent or guardian. Topics include, Music Production, Songwriting, Music Business, Content Creation, and more.

GRAMMY Museum Summer Session is a free five-day non-residential songwriting workshop for students currently enrolled in High School, providing valuable resources to help you build a solid foundation in songwriting.

Summer Session 2024 Schedule:

  1. Los Angeles (IN PERSON): Tuesday, June 18 – Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the GRAMMY Museum in Downtown Los Angeles

Deadline to Apply for Summer Session (Los Angeles) is April 15, 2024

IMPORTANT – Please get your application in EARLY. There are limited spaces available and, we will be accepting students on a rolling basis as applications come in.

Music Business 101 – Students will gain a basic understanding of several areas within the Music Business including, music publishing, licensing, copyright laws, marketing, and more.

Songwriting 101 – This six-week course will help develop the fundamentals of songwriting, how to discover yourself through your writing, analyze hit songs, songwriting structures, and more.

GRAMMY Museum Family Session is designed to serve those who are between the ages of 3-7 years old and their family members. Programming includes musical performance, singalongs, book reading, and more.
