An Evening With Jon Batiste

In association with Americana Music Foundation, the GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome seven-time GRAMMY, Emmy, and Academy Award–winning singer, songwriter, and composer Jon Batiste to the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater for an evening of conversation and a special live performance celebrating his GRAMMY-nominated ninth studio album, BIG MONEY. Batiste is nominated for three 2026 GRAMMY Awards on behalf of the project, including Best Americana Album, Best American Roots Performance (“Lonely Avenue” featuring Randy Newman), and Best American Roots Song (“Big Money”).

Rooted in American traditions spanning gospel and soul to blues, folk, and rock & roll, BIG MONEY deepens Batiste’s exploration of the American musical canon. Expansive yet deeply personal, it features collaborations with No I.D., Randy Newman, and Andra Day. Batiste recently wrapped his national headlining tour in support of the album, which visited over 30 venues across the country including Nashville’s historic Grand Ole Opry. 

BIG MONEY caps a landmark year for the New Orleans native, which included his Super Bowl performance, two GRAMMY® wins for his acclaimed Netflix documentary American Symphony, and the chart-topping success of Beethoven Blues, which spent nine weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Classical Albums chart. Beethoven Blues followed his 2023 album, World Music Radio, which earned five GRAMMY nominations including Album of the Year. 2023 also saw Batiste earn an Oscar nomination and a GRAMMY Award for his song “It Never Went Away,” from American Symphony, which follows him in 2021 as he’s honored with 11 GRAMMY nominations, including Album of the Year for his album WE ARE, while also navigating the return of his wife’s long-dormant cancer. Batiste’s accolades also include an Academy Award for Pixar’s Soul and a seven-year tenure as bandleader and musical director of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The holder of this ticket is granted admission to the indicated facility for the purpose of viewing the specified event. If this ticket is sold, otherwise conveyed or used in violation of this policy, it will be deemed revoked and void, and its holder deemed a trespasser at all Recording Academy events. This ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused by refunding the face amount of the ticket or ejection may occur for failure to comply with any facility rule. The holder agrees not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, picture, recording or reproduction of the event.
