SoCal Museums Free-for-All Day

Enjoy free admission to the GRAMMY Museum on Sunday, March 16, 2025 as part of the annual Museums Free-for-All, a joint effort by over 30 local museums to present art and culture to the diverse communities of Southern California for FREE. Visit socalmuseums.org for a list of participating institutions and scheduled dates for FREE admission.

Sonic Playground – Explore our groundbreaking and interactive experience that transforms music-making into an engaging, hands-on adventure by merging creativity, education, and cutting-edge technology into one captivating space. 

RetroBlakesberg– Explore 30 years of music history, from blues, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll to hip-hop and alternative music, through the lens of photographer Jay Blakesberg.

On The Red Carpet – Check out eye-catching outfits from the most recent GRAMMYs and Latin GRAMMYs including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and more!

Luther Vandross: Artistry and Elegance – The exhibit offers an intimate glimpse into Luther Vandross’ creative process and showcases his ornate stage wardrobe, exclusive performance footage from his popular tours, and a never-before-heard recording of him in the studio.

Celebrating The Latin GRAMMYs – This vibrant fourth-floor display celebrates the history of the Latin GRAMMY Awards, as well as the rich landscape of musical genres and cultures that have graced their stage.

Michael Jackson: The Thriller Years, 1982-1984 – Our display of original artifacts on loan from the Michael Jackson estate showcases memorable pieces, including beaded jackets Jackson wore during the Jacksons’ 1984 Victory tour.
