The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to host a special screening of the new HBO documentary film LOVE, LIZZO, followed by a post-screening conversation with three-time GRAMMY Award and Emmy award winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified superstar, Lizzo. Attendees will also be the first to watch the new trailer of the upcoming concert film, LIZZO LIVE IN CONCERT, premiering December 31 on HBO Max.
Every once in a while, an artist changes not only music but culture as well. Lizzo has done both. This holiday season, HBO Max will reveal two specials that celebrate the journey of a trailblazing superstar who has become the movement the world desperately needed just by being herself. The HBO Max documentary LOVE, LIZZO shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love, and international stardom. LOVE, LIZZO premieres Thursday, November 24, on HBO Max.
On New Year’s Eve, HBO Max debuts LIZZO LIVE IN CONCERT from the historic Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. Join GRAMMY winner Lizzo on her 11-country tour as she performs her chart-topping hits. LIZZO LIVE IN CONCERT premieres Saturday, December 31, only on HBO Max.
Lizzo has been nominated in six categories at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, including “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album” for SPECIAL, “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for her Billboard Hot 100 #1 worldwide smash “About Damn Time,” and “Best Remixed Recording” for the Purple Disco Machine “About Damn Time” remix. With nominations in three out of four major categories and more, Lizzo is one of the most-nominated artists at the prestigious 2023 awards show.
