Tom DeLonge, award-winning musician, producer and director, and best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter for the platinum-selling bands Blink-182 and Angels & Airwaves, has joined forces with New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Young to pen Poet Anderson …Of Nightmares (Simon & Schuster), the first of a planned trilogy of YA novels set in the sci-fi world of Poet Anderson. Set for release on Oct. 6, the book tells the story of two recently orphaned teenage brothers, Alan and Jonas, on a journey to a new life. Accompanying the novel is a four-song EP from Angels & Airwaves that includes the tracks “Home” and “Into the Night.” The releases are part of a franchise that includes an award-winning animated short film, graphic novels, comic books, music and more. The GRAMMY Museum welcomes DeLonge to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate discussion on his new book and project, moderated by GRAMMY Foundation Vice President Scott Goldman. After the discussion, DeLonge will sign copies of his book. As a special bonus, the evening will include an exclusive sneak peak at Tom’s new Poet Anderson short film with Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey.
