BEAT MAKING AND SAMPLES: DARRYL SWANN
Join veteran instructor Darryl Swann as he give sstudents a hands-on demonstration of sampling techniques, mixing principles and how to use an old-school drum machine and vinyl records to create beats. Starting his career in a metal band, Cleveland-born Swann has worked with artists such as Mos Def, will.i.am, Raphael Saadiq, Stevie Wonder, and producer Rick Rubin.
*This class is best suited for grades 9-12.
