As part of the GRAMMY Museum’s new Programs at Home series, Moderator Scott Goldman talks with singer, writer, poet, and director Melanie Martinez about her latest film & album, K-12, and her creative process as a musician and visual artist. The conversation was recorded via Zoom video for fans to watch from home on May 13.
Since releasing her K-12 album and film this past September, Melanie has released 13 new music videos from the project, which have now garnered over 100 million views collectively. Her official YouTube Artist Channel has gained over 10 million total subscribers and 2 billion views to date. Her debut album Cry Baby is RIAA certified platinum with each song on the album certified platinum and/or gold.
