This week, we are shining the spotlight on our Box Office & Retail Representative, Cynthia, to learn more about who she is and what she is listening to!
What are your favorite genres of music?
My favorite genres of music really depends on the day. Any minute I can go from singing fun Pop ballads to head banging on old school Metal. I enjoy country queen psychodramas as much as radiant beats in Latin Trap.
Do you play an instrument, if so, what and for how long?
Throughout middle and high school I played the double bass in the school’s orchestra. I miss it because it was good therapy and there was something so powerful about playing such a big instrument.
What appeals to you about music?
What appeals to me about music is the storytelling. Every song has a story behind it— whether it is something serious or fun, songs have their own unique story behind them.
First Concert You Attended?
My first concert was… Metallica Summer Sanitarium 2003 with Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Deftones at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
