The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome breakout artist Gigi Perez to the Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace for an evening in discussion moderated by artist Hayley Kiyoko about her newest album, At the Beach, in Every Life, her hit single, Sailor Song, creative process, and rising career, with a special performance. Attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy rooftop views and a cash bar prior to the program.
Platinum-certified Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and producer Gigi Perez is in the midst of a breakout year. In April 2025, she released her debut album At The Beach, In Every Life via Island Records, featuring breakout hit “Sailor Song.” The album has earned widespread acclaim from The New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, People, NME, BBC, and more, praised for its raw, poetic storytelling and emotional depth as Perez explores grief, faith, love, and memory. “Sailor Song” marked her Billboard Hot 100 debut, charting for 39 weeks and earning a spot in Spotify’s coveted Billions Club. She’s currently on tour with Hozier and has recently been invited on stage by the likes of Noah Kahan, Mumford & Sons, and Mt. Joy—cementing her place among today’s most exciting live acts. With over 25 million monthly listeners, sold-out shows, and major tastemaker buzz, Perez has quickly emerged as a force in pop music. Rolling Stone named her one of its “2025 Acts to Watch,” while Billboard called her “on the precipice of an even bigger breakthrough,” placing her among its “10 LGBTQ+ Artists to Watch in 2025.”
